Dheyani, a Bay Area native, is a sports enthusiast and loves being outdoors. She has worked in many different settings, including acute care post-operative rehab, neuromuscular inpatient rehab, outpatient orthopedic clinics, and sports medicine facilities. In between helping patients achieve their goals, she loves reading research articles and learning new treatment methods. Inspired by the tech-driven culture of Silicon Valley, Dheyani has consulted with multiple start-up companies on the development of various orthopedic products, using her clinical skills and musculoskeletal knowledge. She helped develop robotic wearables, exoskeletons devices, and upper extremity mechanical prosthetics. Outside of the clinic, Dheyani is a competitive snowboarder who has lent a helping hand to many of her teammates - some of which are World Champions and Winter Olympians! She understands athletes well, and how important it is for them to safely return to sport after an injury. She utilizes evidence-based practice and goal setting when designing rehab programs personalized for each patient. When she's not working, you will either find her snowboarding in Colorado with her team, or spending time with her family.
